Seong Eun and I got on the 13th of November 2022 engaged!!!!!

He planned an amazing surprise date for me and as we ended up by the location, everything was prepared and ready for the special moment...

In Korea, couples love to celebrate and so one of the things they celebrate is being together for 200 days. As our 200 days of being a couple were in Korea, SeongEun told me, that he would love to celebrate this occasion here in Switzerland.

So without any plan or knowing that something else would happen, I went on this "200 days" date with him. He picked me up in the morning with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and we drove to the vineyards as he know that I love nature and there you have an amazing few.

As we arrived in the vineyards, we started to walk to our final destination - but then I started to realize something is different, because...

... on the sidewalk where suddenly some heart balloons and the way was full of candles and roses... and then... at the top of our destination was a white blanket, beautifully decorated, with pillows, flowers, candles, and several cards laying there with our pictures on it...

...& then he started to read the cards to me and on them he wrote down our whole love story, divided into several chapters. I was so amazed and could not stop smiling and crying... he put so much effort into it and I truly felt his love and care toward me!

And then... the last chapter which leads us into many more to come...the big question was asked: Do you want to marry me?

... and for sure, I said YEEES!!!!

YEEES!

But then the surprise was not done - after we prayed together my sites and some friends came out of the nowhere and together we had a celebration - what an amazing day it was!!!

The day could not have been better, I truly could tell of how much effort SeongEun, my sisters, and my friends were putting into this special day! I loved every second of it!

What's next?

We are planning to get married next year during the fall season and we are super excited for the new season to come. Now we are in the middle of the preparation to find our wedding location, creating guest lists, and everything that is included in the wedding planning. We truly enjoy working together and figuring everything out, step by step.

As both of us are full-time involved in missions, we truly see the challenges of planning a wedding where we know it is connected with costs. But we both are trusting and believe that God will guide us through this season where we also can learn even more about what it means to be dependent on him and the provisions he will give to us, in his will and timing. Every struggle we are facing brings us closer to him and we are learning more and more to seek the Lord in every single area of our lives.

As both of us have the heart to disciple and champion young people we are super excited to see how God will use us in this area and how we can more and more work together as a team.

Both of us want to thank you for all your prayer and support on our journey as we are learning and figuring so much out in this new season to come :-) We are looking so much forward to what is to come!
